I love how Sean describes each pose and the benefits that come with it.

Sean knows her stuff for sure! I like that her flows move without too much speed, still with some good holds.

Sean has a soft, gentle voice - but is still strong and firm with her cueing.

Her sequencing is so unique - I love to incorporate her transitions into my personal practice.

Sean's savasana seems grounded in yoga unity, which I definitely appreciate.

Felt safe. Instructional pacing was excellent - not too hard, not too easy. Felt amazing the rest of the day!

Awesome teacher, awesome class.

Great atmosphere and experience!

Sean was awesome. Your vibe was perfect, and your instruction is sound.

Great class! Just what I needed after a stressful work week.

Sean was great! Such a nice flow and variety of postures.

Excellent class and amazing music. I Shazaamed several songs to add to my own personal playlists. Body felt amazing after and finished feeling at ease.

Classes are really well-rounded, balanced, and the instruction is really clear. Excellent energy--virtual though it may be!

Loved it! Such a nice combo of hard work and rest. Loved the music too!

Sean's classes are dynamic and thoughtful. She brings such a refreshingly fresh perspective to each class. Her classes are challenging, but accessible to any level!

I loved all of the metaphors and analogies she used in class. She kept it fun and playful!

This yin class was excellent! I looked forward to it all day and it did not disappoint.

Sean had a great pace to her class, clear instructions, and a calming, friendly tone. It was a pleasure to be her student!

She was wonderful. Loved her detailed instruction, calming words, and well-curated playlist.

Super clean flow. Amazing tunes. Thank you Sean!

Such a fantastic class! Great voice, easy to follow and a challenging (but great) class! Thank you!

Wonderful bright energy with joyful flow sequences. Sean's happy personality came through the screen.

Loved the flow, and different variations. I'd say the pace felt perfect, not too fast, not too slow. I'll be back!

Great flow with excellent verbal prompts.

Sean was amazing and super personable. I loved her playlist and how well she explained every step. As a beginner it was a little difficult to follow in the beginning but Sean was great at helping me pick it up very quickly. Excited to book another class with Sean!

Sean is such a fun teacher! She laughs and has a good time during the class and I always leave feeling lighter than when I started the class. Sean has amazing sequences! Her ability to set up poses so they all blend together is amazing! Highly recommend.

As a teacher myself, I really appreciate your clear instructions, precise use of imagery, positive energy, the beautiful demonstration of the various asanas, and the thoughtful way you structure the flow through time.

Truly a great experience, made me fully comfortable practicing in my own home without supervision, and loved the modifications and introduction into how and when to use yoga blocks.

I felt she was great with instructions and building the sequencing. She made the 1 hour class fly by :)

Sean is just the best! She always brings a warm and inclusive presence into her classes that is genuine and inviting. Her ability to guide a meaningful practice is second to none, and her playful approach to yoga has helped me get out of rigidly forcing myself through postures. She is kind, thoughtful, and her Friday class is my favourite way to start the weekend. Sean is a true gem, and it's a constant pleasure to take part in her classes.

Very relaxing, good vibe, perfect volume in terms of voice, and a really great flow. all around fabulous!

Her vibe worked for me! She was clear in what she wanted us to do. I could move with my eyes shut.

Great stretch! Sean led a great class.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and teaching such thoughtful, informative and inclusive classes. Your classes have kept me grounded and grateful during the pandemic, I looked forward to them every week. This has also been the longest unbroken stretch of time that I have participated in a yoga class.

This class was awesome! Thank you so much for helping me feel so zen :)

Very approachable and a great class!

Sean is clear and concise while providing accurate names for each of the positions. There is warmth by offering modifications and gentle humour in the delivery which makes it accessible when when you've been away from your practice. I thoroughly enjoyed my practice.

Always amazing! Super accessible and supportive environment, with modifcations for every skill level. Great pacing and visualizations, too. Thank you, Sean!

Great class! I loved her instruction style, everything had modifications and were explained clearly. Sean's class pace was perfect and she was so friendly from the moment I arrived, to little jokes and comments she sneaks into her instruction that just add to the flow. Definitely will book again!

This class was well thought-out and she had such a lovely calm soothing voice, perfect for Yin.

Great experience. Easy to follow and no pressure for a newcomer.

Easy to follow along, good mix of at-your-own-pace and challenging, great music, loved the affirmations :)

Sean has the most calming voice! It was truly a beautiful class. Each pose so thoughtfully built on the next. 10/10

I love her enthusiasm and the way she conducts her class. All movements seem to flow seamlessly into each other.

Sean's class left me feeling sweaty, toned, grounded, relaxed and stretched. Her way of speaking was so positive, guiding with so much love and empathy. The music was absolutely perfect.

Sean puts together such elegant flows and brings a lot of body positivity to class. I find her instructions very easy to follow.

Sean has a beautiful voice and gives very clear cues,, lovely to follow along with!

Sean is an excellent teacher that makes everyone feel welcome and empowered.

Wow. It was a special class. Sean's guidance was so inclusive, positive, yet instructional without being too technical. And the soundtrack was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

an accidental yogi

my story

I grew up focusing more on my mind over movement. I joined clubs rather than teams, studies instead of sports.
I only understood my body on a visual level, basing its value solely on what I could see in the mirror as opposed to valuing what it could do for me. I could not imagine what it would be like to go through life with physical strength, flexibility or gracefulness.

Like so many other people, my teens and early twenties were defined by late nights out, disordered eating and bad relationships. My body and spirit suffered a great deal, and my self-esteem was practically non-existent.

The summer after I finished university, I moved to the big city of Toronto and quickly found myself in a corporate job in one of the many high-rise buildings that make up our famous skyline. I fell in love with the heartbeat of the city, preferring to take it all in while walking for hours around the busy streets. I began to feel the first little sparks of loving movement, as I felt myself getting slightly stronger and increasing stamina.

Then, I got hit with my first Toronto winter. It was definitely too cold to walk to and from the office, so I took to the internet to help me find a new fitness practice. I decided to take a chance on yoga, having found an introductory deal for a studio in Toronto's underground PATH system.

Yoga had always interested me, but I had never felt confident enough in my body to actually give it a shot. And I was instantly hooked. I would race down from my desk to squeeze in a lunchtime class, my coworkers laughing at me as I pulled out a big heavy yoga mat and dashed out the door as soon as it hit noon.
I immediately noticed little changes in my body - my posture improving, less pain in my hips, being able to graze my toes with my fingers!

However, the biggest change I noticed is the one I still appreciate the most to this day: the feeling of myself taking up space in the world. I had spent so much time and effort in my earlier years to make myself tiny - invisible, even - like I did not inherently deserve to be there at all. While yoga may be a physical practice, for me it also has become a daily act of self-esteem and self-forgiveness.

My main goal as an instructor is to lead others down this long path of healing and discovery that yoga provides. Whether you want to just move your body, reach spiritual growth, or something else, I know you’ll benefit from a practice.

One thing I know for sure is that we could all use more yoga in our lives.
